With the Theme “Digital Bangladesh in Action”, the annual fair by Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) is going to be kicked off from 10th of this month, announces BASIS through a press brief held at Hotel Sheraton on February 6th.

Like the previous years the prominent and promising software service provider firms are going to exhibit their products and services in the annual event at Bangabandhu International Conference Center.
The press briefing program has been chaired by BASIS President Mr. Habibullah N Karim, along with Expo’s Platinum Sponsor Grameenphone’s Additional General Manager Mr. MA Mamun Hashmi and Gold Sponsor RIV System’s CEO Mr. M Rejaul Hasan. The program was also attended by BASIS Secretary General Mr. Nahid Ahmed, Treasurer Ms. Farhana A Rahman, Director Mubin Khan and Chairman of National Event Committee Mr. A Touhid.
The largest software expo of the country, BASIS Softexpo will be inaugurated on the 10th through a formal inaugural ceremony with Mr. Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, Hon’ble Minister, Ministry of Finance as the Chief Guest.
On the second day IT Use Awards and IT Innovation Search Awards will be handed over to the Software organizations for their excellence in the relative field.
Also like the previous years seminars and round tables on important and contemporary issues will be organized in everyday basis.
