Through an inauguration ceremony a regional committee, Bangladesh Computer Samity has started its journey in Sylhet from March 1, 2010.

Sylhet City Corporation Mayor Mr. Badar Uddin Kamran was present in the inauguration ceremony held in Bangladesh Computer Samty’s Sylhet Branch Office at Jindabazar.
BCS President Mr. Mustafa Jabbar was present in the inauguration program as the special guest. BCS Sylhet Committee Chairman Mr. Enamul Kuddus has presided over the program where BCS Vice President Mr. Kazi Ashraful Alam, Director Mr. Yusuf Ali Shamim and Members along with the Sylhet Sub-Committee members, officials, ICT entrepreneurs from Sylhet, ICT business owners and general ICT aware people from Sylhet.
